This course is for beginners wanting to become safe independent climbers

 

The course covers skills needed to use indoor climbing walls without an instructor.

 

Learn how to climb safely so you can bring friends or family to the wall

• 4-6 hour fast-track course covering skills needed for safe and fun climbing and bouldering

• Safety equipment included

• Delivered at Green Spider (Hereford), Llangorse Multi Activity Centre (near Brecon), Red Point Worcester, The Warehouse (Gloucester) or Boulders (Cardiff)

Some of the skills covered:

• Harness fitting

• Tieing in

• Belaying (including use of assisted breaking devices)

• Managing weight differences between climbers and belayers

• Bouldering

*under 18's welcome recommended minimum age of 14 years old (younger considered on case by case basis)
